Donate

Financial contributions directly influence the reach and impact of reparations efforts. Donations are directed to the Evanston Reparations Community Fund, a resource specifically aimed at healing racism and addressing harm caused by discriminatory practices in Evanston’s Black community.

The Fund is managed by RSAE, allowing us to raise funds, develop grant processes, and administer grants to advance Evanston Reparations. A key objective is ensuring funding availability for reparations even after the exhaustion of the City of Evanston’s tax revenues, held separately and administered by the City.

Every donation, big or small, contributes to the longevity and effectiveness of local reparations efforts, creating lasting change and healing within our community.

To make a donation, please visit the Evanston Community Foundation’s fund list and scroll down to the “Special/strategic project funds” section to find the “Evanston Reparations Community Fund.”

Your involvement, through volunteering or donating, holds transformative potential for Evanston’s Black community. Join us in our mission to drive meaningful change and healing, because together, we can make reparations a reality.
